A projected-release notice follows an admission audit and can change. A release-with-supervision notice means physical prison confinement ended while state authority continues. Note: Save the confirmation because an alert registration and an official custody record serve different evidentiary purposes.
NC SAVAN Bridges Cleveland Custody Systems

These events are not equivalent. A minimum-custody event does not mean release. A transfer or capture changes custody status. A projected date is not the actual event.
The telephone PIN system adds a practical safeguard. Calls continue for 24 hours at set intervals until acknowledgment when the PIN is not entered. That behavior helps explain repeated calls, yet it does not increase the number of events. Confirm the event once with the agency shown on the record.

For a court outcome, use the North Carolina court Portal or Cleveland County Clerk. A judgment may show dismissal, time served, probation, or active commitment. It does not always report the Sheriff’s processing time. No single screen should be stretched beyond the fact its agency records.
